Desiderius Erasmus, a 15th century Dutch philosopher and priest, has been credited with the following (dare I say horrible) quote:
“Women, can’t live with them, can’t live without them.”
In difficult days and seasons we could say we feel like that about all people and relationships. I have literally heard a Pastor say he would love pastoring if it weren’t for the people.
Relationships are, in the best of times, difficult to grow and maintain. They go through ebbs and flows, and even seasons, but we can’t live without them.
Evidence of that: What’s the harshest form of punishment? Solitary Confinement. God hard wired us to long for a relationship with Him and with each other, but sin has made building healthy ones difficult.
In “What’s Love Got to do With It?” we are going to explore four habits to help us grow healthy relationships. Do you know someone who could benefit from Scripture’s wisdom on this subject? Share the promo video with them and encourage them to be part of the series.
By the way, no one has yet to answer all the songs and their artists in the video as of yet. Keep trying. Hint, there are 23 songs and one is hiding in a tricky place.
