What are some next steps at Immanuel? Preparing to be “at home” with God is a step-by-step journey. We are here to walk with you in each of those important steps. Below are some options for your NEXT STEPS.
JUMP START…A 21 Day Jump Start to Connect with God
Whether you have just decided to embrace Jesus as Savior and follow Him, or you just need to reconnect with Him JUMP START is for you. It does not matter if you are new to Immanuel or are a long-time part of the family, JUMP START can provide just what you may need, a jump start in understanding how God works in your life.
JUMP START is a personal self-guided 21 day program designed to help you understand how God works in our lives through salvation, our faith story, prayer and Bible study. Here is what you will cover in JUMP START:
Baptism has been described as “an outward expression, of an inward transformation.” At Immanuel we don’t baptize so you can go to heaven, we baptize because you are going to heaven. It is an announcement of your decision to follow Jesus as your Savior. To learn more about baptism or to take that NEXT STEP in your journey click below.
To learn more about baptism and to discuss your decision with Pastor Jeff, please mark your attendence card, email the church office, or just chat with PJ after service. He will be happy to set up a time to speak with you about it.

FIND YOUR PLACE TO GET INVOLVED
The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation. It is to be lived in community, and better yet, in a small community. At Immanuel we call them small groups. Another way to put it is like this: real growth does not happen best in rows; it happens best in circles. Sitting in a large-group row is just the beginning of your growth as a believer. Growth is kicked in overdrive when we sit in a circle where we can talk with each other, ask questions, learn from each other, and pray for each other. We have various small groups that are short term or on-going that meet on Sundays, as well as different days of the week. To learn more click below.
God has given each of us talents, abilities and interests. The Bible calls them spiritual gifts. He wants us to use them for His purpose. Immanuel has several opportunities to put those talents to work for Kingdom purposes. Volunteer ministry teams are the backbone of what takes place at Immanuel. There are some places where you can serve even if you are new to Immanuel or not yet a member. To begin a conversation about how you can plug into what God is doing in and through Immanuel please speak with Pastor Jeff or JD.
