It’s all about Jesus. Creation is through, in and about Jesus. Salvation is only through, and only in Jesus. We read the following words in Acts 4:12: “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
From the beginning of creation, everything we read about in the Old Testament is preparation for Jesus. All of history pointed to his explosion on the scene.
The OT is filled with predictions and references to the coming Messiah. The numbers range from 15 to over 300 clear and veiled references. Jesus both intentionally and out of his control fulfilled them all. The chances of that happening are astronomical. These predictions foretold what he would do and who he would be. When you line them all up together the evidence points overwhelmingly to Jesus of Nazareth as the long-awaited Messiah.
Have you ever wondered why Jesus came when He did? Was it random? Did God throw a dart at the heavenly calendar to choose the day? Doesn’t it make sense that He should have come today with all the technology and ability to speak to the entire world in real time with one message?
