SERVING

MINISTRY AT IMMANUEL

Where is God calling you to serve? What team needs your skills? Where do you belong? Don’t know the answer? Like a lot of us, you might need some guidance. Immanuel has four ministry classes that are designed to inform and help equip you to serve. To chat about where you might like to serve, please speak with Pastor Jeff, JD, or a ministry leader. We would love to talk with you.

CLASSES

101 Welcome to Immanuel: Discusses our beliefs, values, vision, practices, member covenant (explains the profession of faith and baptism). Each ministry area gets explained so people can know available areas in which they can serve.

201 Difference Maker: How to share your faith story. Prepares you to give a two, five, or ten minute, and a one hour life testimony, as needed. Teaches other ways to share the gospel, such as Romans Road, How Good is Good Enough, and The Bridge.

301 Discover Your Spiritual DNA: The Three Colors of Ministry “test,” which helps you find where you might best serve the Lord.

401 Christ’s Ambassador Seminar: Apologetics – How to defend your faith.

MINISTRY TEAMS

Teams have varying requirements for serving. Some require a certain level of the above classes attended. Some, like children’s and student’s ministry, also require background checks. These requirements are explored in 101 Welcome to Immanuel and can also be discussed with pastoral staff.
