It has been said that people retain only about 10% of what they hear after a while. That is not good news to a preacher’s ear, but there is hope for us who preach the gospel.
The rate of retention increases each time you add another sense, such as sight, touch, smell and even taste. That is where our Audio/Visual ministry team into play.
The behind the scenes work of this important team helps Immanuel tell the story of Jesus in a way that people can take with them.
I truly believe the work of this team is Biblical. Throughout scripture God used all five of the senses in effectively communicating with His people.
Sight: The heavens declare his glory. Taste: Passover/Seder meals. Smell: Burning of incense. Touch: Feeding the multitudes.
I am so thankful for the tireless work this team does to help Immanuel share the good news of Jesus Christ in a way that will help people remember and take with them.
There are opportunities available to help people hear, experience and know the gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that they will hear, remember and take home with them.
Why not join this team and take the gospel to the “ends of the earth?”
