I have never anticipated a new year as much as I have 2021, and it has nothing to do with pandemics, viruses and social distancing. It has all things to do with the Kingdom of God and Immanuel. You can read why in the rest of the newsletter.
I had the opportunity to talk with the family we helped at Christmas and here is what they asked me to share:
“Thank you all so much. We will never be able to put into words the gratitude and humbleness we feel. Being part of the Immanuel family has been such a blessing in so many ways and God is doing some great things. Knowing that the blessings God bestows on this church are passed on and shared is a reminder of God’s calling and a biblical way of life. Unconditional love, patience, and understanding (even when we don’t understand ourselves) are very hard to come by in this world. It is a privilege and a blessing to know each and every one of you. God isn’t finished, and oh the story we will tell for generations to come. With a deep heartfelt humbled sense of gratitude, we thank you.”
Immanuel: A great place to call home and be called “Pastor.”
